Twenty block-printed shirts stand in rows across a terracotta ground stitched densely with tiny grain-like marks. On each shirt sits a raised embroidered bug in green, ochre or brown. Harvest imagines fast fashion as a crop ripe for consumption, with us as the pests feeding on it far beyond what we need.

This artwork is part of Second Appetite, a series of four textile works in which clothing, often called a second skin, becomes a surface being eaten away, as fast fashion's hunger for novelty devours the planet's water, soil and labour.
